RHYTOPIA Refund & Cancellation Policy
This policy explains how subscriptions purchased on RHYTOPIA are billed, how to cancel, and when refunds are available. It forms part of the RHYTOPIA Terms of Use. Marketplace purchases you make from other creators are handled separately - see Section 7.
01Paddle Is Our Merchant of Record
Subscriptions on RHYTOPIA are sold by Paddle.com Market Ltd ("Paddle") on our behalf as Merchant of Record. Paddle processes your payment, calculates and remits applicable taxes, issues your invoice and receipt, and appears on your bank or card statement. Because Paddle is the seller of record, refunds are issued through Paddle and may be subject to Paddle's own buyer policies in addition to this policy.
Your card details are collected by Paddle's secure checkout and are never visible to, stored by, or processed by RHYTOPIA.
02Free Trial
Self-serve plans include a seven (7) day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial. A payment method is required at sign-up; if you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription converts to a paid subscription at the price shown at checkout and your first billing period begins automatically.
You can cancel during the trial at any time from your billing portal or by contacting support@rhytopia.com, and you will not be charged.
03Cancelling a Subscription
You can cancel at any time. Cancellation stops all future charges: we recommend cancelling at least 24 hours before your next renewal date. You can cancel yourself from the billing portal (linked from the pricing page when you are signed in), which opens Paddle's customer portal, or by emailing support@rhytopia.com from your account address.
When you cancel, your plan remains active until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and then expires automatically. We do not pro-rate partial periods. If you change your mind before the period ends, you can re-subscribe at any time.
04When Refunds Are Available
Our standard policy is as follows:
- EU / UK statutory withdrawal: if the GDPR, UK equivalent, or the EU Consumer Rights Directive applies to you, you may withdraw from your first purchase within fourteen (14) days of the charge. Because our digital services are provided immediately, the statutory right to withdraw does not apply to renewal periods once service has been fully performed, and requesting immediate access during the withdrawal window expressly waives the withdrawal right for that period.
- Duplicate or erroneous charges: refunded in full, no questions asked - contact us within 60 days.
- Technical failure on our side: if a paid feature was materially unavailable and we could not fix it within a reasonable window, we will refund the affected period at our discretion.
- Renewals and change of mind: renewal charges are generally non-refundable once the new period has started, but we review every request in good faith - especially first-time mistakes within a few days of a renewal.
- Enforcement: fees are not refundable where an account was terminated for breach of the Terms of Use (including the Non-AI Content Agreement or Copyright Respect Agreement), consistent with the REFUNDS paragraph of the Terms of Use.
05How to Request a Refund
Email support@rhytopia.com from your account address with your invoice reference (from your Paddle receipt) and a short description of the issue. We acknowledge requests within two (2) business days and resolve most within seven (7). Approved refunds are issued by Paddle to the original payment method; bank posting times vary and can take up to ten (10) business days.
You may also contact Paddle buyer support directly from your receipt or through Paddle's support pages, quoting the transaction reference on your invoice.
06Enterprise Agreements
Enterprise plans are custom agreements arranged with our team (support@rhytopia.com). Billing terms, service levels, and refund conditions for Enterprise are those agreed in the applicable order form or agreement, which takes precedence over this policy where they differ.
07Marketplace Purchases (Selar) and Creator Earnings
Some items on the RHYTOPIA marketplace are sold by creators through Selar. When you buy through Selar, your contract - and any refund - is with the seller under Selar's checkout and refund policies; RHYTOPIA does not process or refund those transactions. Where a refund is granted on such a purchase, associated creator earnings and platform royalties are reversed accordingly.
Creator earnings, wallet balances, and payout rules are governed by the Payments, Wallets, and Royalties section of the Terms of Use.
08Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy; the version and effective date at the top of this page always reflect the current version. Material changes affecting active subscriptions will be communicated before they take effect. Questions? Contact support@rhytopia.com.
